Submitting an Article
{Guidelines}
Articles can be written be any parent or business owner in Chatham-Kent. However,
business owners must have place an ad in the preceding or the current issue in which the
article is being submitted.
We will credit the writer at the end of the article with a brief description about the writer. It
should be approximately 15-30 words - contact or website information can also be
included.
Business owners must not write about their business directly (unless preapproved by the
editor) as many readers will find this as more of a sales pitch than informative. "

"Please ensure your article is no more than 400 words. All topics must be approved by
us before it is written as we do not want to waste anyones precious time! We simply want
to ensure your article does not conflict with another writer's submission. We also ask that
articles are not written on issues that pertain to other seasons of the year. We ask that you
try to gear the content of your submission to the season."

Photos can be submitted with your article but must be pre-approved by the editor.
However if you do not have any suitable imagery, we will provide a stock photo for you to
use in your article.
Photos must be submitted as a jpg with a resolution of 150-200 dpi and a size of 250x380
pixels or 2 1/4 x 1 1/2"". If you need help with your resolution, please let us know and we
will be glad to help!"

Our Summer issue will be available for the first week in June & will be available until August.
All articles must be submitted by May 1st.
